What is the best selling flower at a flower shop?

Posted by Michelle Hughes on

When it comes to the bestselling flower in American flower shops or florists, the answer isn't cut and dry.  The bestselling flower in any given shop depends on the tastes of that particular florist and which flowers they like to work with.

When you search for the bestselling flowers on Google you will often see this list:

Roses, Orchids, Tulips, Daisies, Carnations, Peonies, Ranunculus and Tulips.

That's probably a good start but as for our shop our best sellers are actually Mums.  Chrysanthemums comes in dozens of colors, shapes, and sizes from seven inch across football mums to the tiniest, clustered buttons.  We carry a large assortment of mums just due to their variation.  The second flower we purchase the most often are roses.  We don't sell red or yellow roses like traditional, old-school florists.  Our owner's aesthetic leans more cottagey and garden, so our roses range from whites to pale pinks, and even a few with light purple tints.

Bloomstall Flower Boutique is a full service every day and wedding florist shop in downtown Columbia, Tennessee.  Our owner and lead designer Michelle is available for event flower work just about anywhere in the middle Tennessee area.
