Columbia is one of the fastest growing cities in Tennessee. New amenities are popping up all the time. This once sleepy little town is now bustling with young entrepreneurs and public works projects. From our arts district to our beautiful public parks Columbia isn't a good place to live, it's a great one!

In short, yes! If you like shopping, antiques, good food, nice people, and beautifully preserved buildings Columbia is a "must see."

What is there to do in Columbia, Tennessee?

  • You can visit the home of President James K. Polk

  • You can go shopping on our beautiful, and historic, town square. Don't forget to take a picture of the Maury County Courthouse!

  • Your children will enjoy aMuse-um Children's Museum.

  • Take a stroll along the Duck River at Riverwalk Park, if you make it to the end of the trail you'll see the Duck River Dam. If hiking is more of your game you can visit Chickasaw Trace Park or Yanahli Park.

  • If antiques and vintage is your game check out Bleu 32 marketplace. Over 6000 square feet of shopping in a former JC Penney.

  • Stop by the Maury County Visitors Center just west of the square for free tourism info.

  • Check out the Columbia Visitor's Center located on the square and get your official Columbia, Tennessee swag!
