- Columbia is famous for mules! Once the site of a huge annual mule auction, the town now holds a yearly Mule Day, which actually lasts a whole week!

What is there to do in Columbia, Tennessee?
- You can visit the home of President James K. Polk
- You can go shopping on our beautiful, and historic, town square. Don't forget to take a picture of the Maury County Courthouse!
- Your children will enjoy aMuse-um Children's Museum.
- Take a stroll along the Duck River at Riverwalk Park, if you make it to the end of the trail you'll see the Duck River Dam. If hiking is more of your game you can visit Chickasaw Trace Park or Yanahli Park.
- If antiques and vintage is your game check out Bleu 32 marketplace. Over 6000 square feet of shopping in a former JC Penney.
- Stop by the Maury County Visitors Center just west of the square for free tourism info.
- Check out the Columbia Visitor's Center located on the square and get your official Columbia, Tennessee swag!
