TECH SPECS:

This is a Progressive Web App (PWA).

Hosting: Hosted for free via GitHub Pages.

Format: The CREATE A REMINDER tool uses the .ics (iCalendar) standard to communicate with phone hardware. Privacy: No user data is stored on a server. All reminder generation happens locally in the user's browser.

Installation: Because this is a PWA it installs a little differently than a standard app store app. Basically, you are creating a shortcut to a mini webpage.

iOS: Open the link in Safari, tap the 'Share' icon, and select 'Add to Home Screen'.

Depending on your phone you may have to find the three dots icon instead of the SHARE icon and expand that page to find 'Add to Home Screen. The SHARE icon looks like a square with an arrow pointing up.

Android: Open the link in Chrome, tap the menu (three dots), and select 'Install' or 'Add to Home Screen'.
